Nice clean campground. Lots or activities foe the kids. Sites are a bit small. Love the paved roads!
Sites are close together. Is more a seasonal type camp ground. Staff is very friendly. Fire wood was wet, didn't burn well.
We just stayed there for 3 nights. I love this place. We have been coming here about 4 years now. The new owners have made great improvements. The best is quiet time. Way back when, there were no rules or quiet time at night and we vowed not to go back until we heard there was new owners. Now it's just perfect and we will be back next year.
Everyone is super nice, helpful and will help you with anything. Campground is clean, well kept and kept up. Bathrooms are clean (I don't know how with the beach next to them but they keep them clean!!!). Pool is clean and the pond/swimming beach is awesome. They were working on finishing a huge water slide the weekend we were there. The large raft in the pond is awesome!
Wonderful place to get away, really family oriented and nice community feeling.
Bottom line..Great campground and we will be back.
I had some concerns about this place with some old reviews about this being a party place. I went last month with my two younger kids. I was never concerned about a thing. New owners have done a great job striking a balance between fun and having some basic rules. Place actually got super quiet at night on the weekend way earlier then I expected.
If you go make sure you stop in Potosi and go to the brewery/museum. Pick up a 6 pack of good old Potosi beer.
